How It Works:

​You set up your profile in the TAPD app in about two minutes — entering your name, date of birth, blood type, medications, allergies, medical conditions, organ donor status, and emergency contacts. For pets, you enter their species, breed, vet info, medical history, vaccines history, and owner contacts.

That profile gets written directly to your NFC tag, by you, using the TAPD app. From that point on, anyone with a smartphone — a paramedic, a ski patrol member, a good samaritan — can tap your helmet or pet's collar charm and immediately see your full emergency profile on their screen. Your information is put on their phone by creating an SMS message to your emergency contact. No app download required on their end. No unlocking. No searching.

Your information stays completely private. It lives only in your TAPD app and on your physical tag — it is never uploaded to a cloud server or stored in any external database. You own your data entirely.
